Our first family adventure was on a high ropes course. The instructors were fantastic; thanks to their encouragement, we pushed our limits. What an adventure! Thank you so much, and we'll definitely do it again. A truly wonderful experience and a highly recommended challenge!

Avenature provided us with an unforgettable survival experience on their property. Everything was perfectly arranged, from the activities to the meals and accommodations. Communication with Eve was excellent; he was proactive, flexible, and engaged. Thanks in part to his dedication, we were able to organize a fantastic and successful school trip. Highly recommended for schools and groups looking for a well-organized and adventurous experience!

Challenging activities in a fantastic location

2 days in a row we enjoyed an activity at Avenature. The first activity was disc golf and we enjoyed it with the whole family (from 10 years to 67 years). One more competitive than the other, but highly recommended to do with a large group. The instructor gives instructions in an enthusiastic way and then you can get started on your own. We trusted her and she trusted us.
Activity 2: the high ropes course. For the daredevils among us. Once again, you will receive enthusiastic professional advice. Do you need some help? Did someone get scared? The team is immediately available!
In short: you can play challenging activities in a fantastic location, it is highly recommended!

2 dagen op rij genoten we van een activiteit bij Avenature. De eerste activiteit was discgolf en wat hebben we hiervan genoten met de ganse familie (van 10 jaar tem 67 jaar). De ene al wat competitiever dan de andere, maar een echte aanrader om met een grote groep te doen. De begeleidster geeft op een enthousiaste manier instructies en daarna kan je alleen aan de slag. Wij stelden vertrouwen in haar en zij in ons.
Activiteit 2: het hoogteparcours. Voor de durvers onder ons. Opnieuw krijg je op een enthousiaste manier professioneel advies. Heb je even hulp nodig? Heeft er toch iemand schrik gekregen? Het team staat meteen ter beschikking!
Kortom: op een fantastische locatie uitdagende activiteiten kunnen spelen, het is een echte aanrader!

Team Building on the Climbing Course – A Highlight of Cooperation and Fun

Last weekend we participated with our team (27 people) in a teambuilding activity on the climbing course of Avenature. It was without a doubt an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by professional and enthusiastic guides (Heidi, Jana and Matthijs) who clearly knew what they were doing.
The course itself was challenging, but accessible to everyone thanks to the 2 different heights. The mix of rope ladders, wobbly bridges, zip lines and other obstacles created excitement and lots of laughter. What really made this activity worthwhile was how well it stimulated teamwork. We had to trust each other, encourage each other and find solutions together — exactly what you hope to achieve with team building. For some in the team, overcoming their fear of heights was a personal victory, which only added to the group bond. The supervisors took safety very seriously and provided clear explanations and support when needed, which made everyone feel at ease. The combination of physical challenge, teamwork and fun made this a top activity that we as a team will look back on with enthusiasm for a long time to come.

Afgelopen weekend namen we met ons team (27 personen) deel aan een teambuildingactiviteit op het klimparcours van Avenature. Het was zonder twijfel een onvergetelijke ervaring! Vanaf het moment dat we aankwamen, werden we hartelijk ontvangen door professionele en enthousiaste begeleiders (Heidi, Jana en Matthijs) die duidelijk wisten waar ze mee bezig waren.
Het parcours zelf was uitdagend, maar voor iedereen toegankelijk dankzij de 2 verschillende hoogtes. De mix van touwladders, wiebelbruggen, zip-lines en andere hindernissen zorgde voor spanning én veel gelach. Wat deze activiteit echt waardevol maakte, was hoe goed het teamwork werd gestimuleerd. We moesten elkaar vertrouwen, aanmoedigen en samen naar oplossingen zoeken — precies wat je hoopt te bereiken met teambuilding. Voor sommigen in het team was het overwinnen van hoogtevrees een persoonlijke overwinning, wat alleen maar bijdroeg aan de groepsbinding. De begeleiders namen de veiligheid zeer serieus en gaven duidelijke uitleg en ondersteuning wanneer nodig, waardoor iedereen zich op zijn gemak voelde. e combinatie van fysieke uitdaging, samenwerking en plezier maakte dit tot een topactiviteit waar we als team nog lang met enthousiasme op terug zullen kijken.

We had a great afternoon on the high ropes course. Heidi was our Dutch speaking guide through the course. A very nice and warm lady! We have nothing but respect for her.
The high ropes course certainly has its challenges and was great fun to do. It is a course for big and small.
Even if you don't participate it's nice to just watch the others there. It's a nice location!
We will definitely be back!

We hebben een enorm leuke namiddag gehad op het hoogteparcour. Heidi was onze nederlandstalige gids door het parcour. Een ontzettend fijne en warme dame! We hebben alleen maar respect voor haar.
Het hoogteparcour heeft zeker zijn uitdagingen en was enorm fijn om te doen. Het is een parcour voor groot en klein.
Zelfs als je niet zou meedoen is het fijn om daar gewoon te kijken naar de anderen. Het is een zijn fijne locatie!
Wij komen zeker terug!

Seeing your children and friends enjoying themselves on the climbing course.

After enjoying both the old and new climbing course four times, people are already asking when we will go back to Vielsalm/Baraque Fraiture.
Every time we have been welcomed in a friendly manner and with the necessary explanation from Heidi, Lidy and now the last time also by Jana who did her very best to speak Dutch. 3 top ladies who with great pleasure bring the necessary atmosphere, ambiance and provide the necessary challenges and the adapted fun challenges for the climbers. And this for young and old. One thing is certain .... there will be many more climbing sessions after last Tuesday (March 4, 2025).

In the meantime, we have a lot of experience with the friendship and explications of Heidi, Lidy and maintenant with Jana's relationship with our friends in the Netherlands. 3 ladies of the high level who aim to create the atmosphere, the ambient atmosphere and the surroundings and the attractiveness of the make-up. Et cela pour les petits et les grands. Une chose est sûre... il y aura encore beaucoup d'ascensions à venir après Mardi (4 March 2025).

nlJe kinderen en vriendinnen zien genieten op het klimparcours.
Na vier keer te kunnen genieten van zowel het oude als nieuwe klimparcours, wordt er al gevraagd wanneer we nog eens terug gaan richting Vielsalm/ Baraque Fraiture.
Elke keer zijn we op een vriendelijke manier goed ontvangen en met de nodige uitleg van Heidi, lidy en nu de laatste keer ook door Jana die heel goed haar best deed om Nederlands te praten. 3 topdames die met heel veel plezier de nodige sfeer, ambiance brengen en voor de nodige uitdagingen zorgen en de aangepaste leuke uitdagingen voor de klimmers. En dit voor jong en oud. En ding is zeker .... er zullen nog wel heel wat klimbeurten volgen na voorbije dinsdag ( 4 maart 2025).

À chaque fois, nous avons été accueillis de manière amicale et avec les explications nécessaires par Heidi, Lidy et maintenant la dernière fois également par Jana qui a fait de son mieux pour parler néerlandais. 3 dames de haut niveau qui aiment créer l'atmosphère, l'ambiance nécessaires et fournir les défis nécessaires et les défis amusants appropriés pour les grimpeurs. Et cela pour les petits et les grands. Une chose est sûre... il y aura encore beaucoup d'ascensions à venir après mardi (4 mars 2025).

Incredible Avenature experience

We visited Avenature for a company retreat, and it was fantastic. The staff were extremely helpful and crafted the perfect package for us, including a delicious lunch buffet. We enjoyed the high tree parcours, some participated in the shooting program, and we also tried the mountain cart. Our trip to Avenature was a major highlight—extremely fun and well-organized. Highly recommend!

Top activity.

Today, July 19, 2024, we played the GPS game the lost Cryptex, together with our children aged 14 and 17. It was a lot of fun to do, we had a nice welcome. And after the explanation we set off. It was a beautiful route with fun riddles in beautiful nature. Highly recommended.

Vandaag 19-07-2024 het GPS spel de verloren Cryptex gedaan, samen met onze kinderen van 14 en 17 jaar. Was erg leuk om te doen, we werden leuk ontvangen. En na de uitleg op pad gegaan. Het was een mooie route met leuke raadsels in een mooie natuur. Echt een aanrader.

Successful day!

I had requested a program for the organization of a bachelorette party. They offered us tree climbing, archery tag, locker stacking and gladiator run, with lunch at midday. It happened on the site of the fraiche baraque.
We had a great day.
The positive points :
- The very friendly, motivating (and bilingual!) guides
- The activities are original
- The treetop adventure course is brand new with modern equipment
- Beautiful area
- Lunch, good value for money

Points to improve :
- For the more experienced, tree climbing may lack difficulty/challenge
- For the stacking of lockers, we would have to add a few more (we had managed to stack them all) again to add to the challenge

J'avais fait une demande de programme pour l'organisation d'un EVG. Ils nous ont proposé l'accrobranche, l'archery tag, l'empilement de casiers et le gladiator run, avec un lunch sur le temps de midi. Ca se passait sur le site de la baraque fraiture.
Nous avons passé une excellente journée.
Les points positifs :
- Les accompagnateurs/trices très sympathiques, motivants (et bilingues!)
- Les activités sont originales
- L'accrobranche est flambant neuve avec du matériel moderne
- Très bel endroit
- Lunch, bon rapport qualité/prix

Les points à améliorer :
- Pour les plus aguéris, l'accrobranche peut manquer de difficulté/challenge
- Pour l'empilement de casiers, il faudrait en rajouter qquns (on avait réussi à les empiler tous) à nouveau pour rajouter du challenge

KWB Vilvoorde Center out and about

What a nice experience. With a ragtag group of 15 men of all shapes and ages, we were warmly welcomed by our hostess Heidi. The combination of rifle shooting, archery and ax throwing was a bull's eye :)!
Expert explanations, patience and, above all, a lot of humor lifted our group to a higher atmosphere.
Highly recommended for anyone who wants to have a great time with their friends, colleagues or family. (and don't worry, age doesn't matter - our oldest participant was 79 years old!)
As a resident 'from the area' (at the weekends anyway) you will see me here more often!
And who knows, maybe next year another activity with KWB Vilvoorde Centrum.

Wat een leuke ervaring. Met een zootje ongeregeld van 15 mannen van alle slag en leeftijd werden we door onze gastvrouw Heidi hartelijk ontvangen. De combinatie van karabijnschieten, boogschieten en bijlgooien was een schot in de roos :) !
Deskundige uitleg, engelengeduld en bovenal veel humor brachten onze groep in hogere sferen.
Een aanrader voor iedereen die een toffe tijd wil hebben met zijn/haar vrienden, collega's of familie. (en wees gerust, leeftijd speelt geen rol - onze oudste deelnemer was 79 jaar !)

Likely the best activity we've done

We were a group of +25 work colleagues. They came where we were staying hours prior the activity to set everything up, and thanks to this, we started right on time. The organisation was excellent, making sure everyone knew where to go, what to do and keeping everyone engaged. The Highland Games were really fun! The feedback from the team was wonderful and some described it as the best team building activity we've done in 6 years.
Bonus: They communicated with our group in perfect English, which is sometimes hard to find.

We did the Western games with 13 girls. We had a very nice afternoon with Lidy. Archery, throwing lasso, sliding beer mug, etc... lots of laughs. We were also allowed to throw small axes as a test. This is a nice addition to the game. Keep it in I say.

We hebben de Western games gedaan met 13 meiden. We hebben een hele leuke middag gehad met Lidy. Boogschieten, lasso werpen, bierpul schuiven, etc... veel gelachen. We mochten als test ook met kleine bijltjes gooien . Dit is een leuke aanvulling voor het spel. Hou dit erin zou ik zeggen.

Team building in Ghent

In Jan 23 we did a team building with about 50 people from the Netherlands and abroad. Yves helped us find the ideal location, with success. The preparations were communicated very clearly by Avenature in advance. On the day itself, Yves came with the Avenature team to get everything ready on time. The professional team was perfectly trilingual. The activity we ordered was “Sword of Xivry”. A very varied game that ensured that people who had never spoken and seen each other quickly made a connection.
In short, it was a very successful day with only positive comments afterwards!

In Jan 23 hebben wij een teambuilding gedaan met een 50-tal personen uit binnenland en buitenland. Yves heeft ons geholpen met de ideale locatie te vinden, met succes. Vooraf werden de voorbereidingen heel duidelijk door Avenature gecommuniceerd. De dag zelf kwam Yves met het Avenature team alles tijdig klaar zetten. Het professionele team was perfect drietalig. De activiteit die wij besteld hadden was “Zwaard van Xivry”. Een zeer gevarieerd spel dat ervoor zorgde dat mensen die elkaar nog nooit gesproken en gezien hadden toch snel een connectie maakten.
Kortom, het was een zeer geslaagde dag met alleen maar positieve commentaren achteraf!

High altitude course and escape game done with AVENATURE : it was an excellent and cool experience with very sympathetic people (Heidi, Lydie and Yves).
Even for a person with a fear of heights (myself) this was no problem with their professional help. Absolutely recommended for families with young children and adolescents. Keep it up!!!

Cycling to Stavelot

With our hockey team we had a fantastic weekend in Viersalm. Yves was very helpful. We cycled more than 40 km on perfectly maintained mountain bikes to the abbey of Stavelot. From there to the waterfalls of Coo. Part of the team had finished cycling by then and Avenature picked up the bikes at the waterfalls of Coo. Everything went very smoothly and friendly.

Met ons hockeyteam hebben we een fantastisch weekend gehad in Viersalm. Yves was erg behulpzaam. We hebben ruim 40km gefietst op perfect onderhouden mountainbikes naar de abdij van Stavelot.Vanuit daar naar de watervallen van Coo. Een deel van het team was toen wel uitgefietst en Avenature haalde de fietsen op bij de watervallen van Coo. Alles verliep heel erg soepel en vriendelijk.

Great team building activity

We met with colleagues for a day of activity with Avenature as part of a teambuilding of 9 people. We started with a shooting aperitif: the team tried their hand at rifle shooting, archery and ax throwing and we finished with a small glass of bubbles. At noon we were received at the Antre Pote (still as part of our reservation with Avenature) with a nice board of charcuterie and cheese as well as local beers. In the afternoon, our mission was to “defuse a bomb” by taking up challenges in order to collect as many clues as possible on the location of the bomb. Cooperation, logic, dexterity, communication, fun and team spirit were indeed there! The organization and the contact was very easy and above all adapted to our needs and our requests. Yves (contact person and host of the day) gave us a great time. THANKS !

Nous nous sommes retrouvés entre collègues pour une journée d'activité avec Avenature dans le cardre d'un teambuilding de 9 personnes. On a commencé par un apéro tir : l'équipe s'est essayée au tir à la carabine, au tir à l'arc et au lancer de hache et nous avons fini sur un petit verre de bulles. Le midi nous avons été reçus à l'Antre Pote (toujours dans le cadre de notre réservation avec Avenature) avec une belle planche de charcuterie et de fromage ainsi que des bières locales. Dans l'après midi, nous avions pour mission de « désamorcer une bombe » en relevant des défis afin de récolter un maximum d'indices sur le lieu de la bombe. Coopération, logique, dextérité, communication, fun et esprit d'équipe étaient bel et bien au rendez-vous ! L'organisation et le contact s'est fait très facilement et surtout s'adapte à nos besoin et notre demande. Yves (personne de contact et animateur de la journée) nous a fait passer un excellent moment. Merci !

With 11 friends we did the Western Games in October 2022. Super cool that we all got a western attribute to get into the mood! And the games themselves were top notch, from archery to bar sliding to wild boar lasso. Have a great afternoon and laugh out loud :).

Team building mission impossible

Saturday 10 September had a great day with a group of 31 people consisting of colleagues, partners and children. Compete against each other in 4 teams with the game Mission Impossible to be the first to defuse the bomb. Under the guidance of professional, friendly, humorous ladies with a number of team assignments trying to collect information about the location of the bomb. The assignments contain tension, dexterity and thinking. We had an unforgettable day with lots of fun and battle against each other.

Zaterdag 10 september een topdag gehad met een groep van 31 man bestaande uit collega's, partners en kinderen. In 4 teams tegen elkaar gestreden met het spel Mission Impossible om als eerste de bom onschadelijk te maken. Onder leiding van professionele, vriendelijke, humoristische dames met een aantal teamopdrachten info over de plek van de bom proberen te verzamelen. De opdrachten bevatten spanning, behendigheid en denkwerk. Met veel lol en strijd tegen elkaar een onvergetelijke dag gehad.

During the family weekend at Pentecost we did the climbing course with 6 adults.
The reception, explanation and guidance was professional and clear.
The humor was not forgotten, creating a relaxed atmosphere. For those who needed it, there was extra attention that made you dare to go a little further.
We really enjoyed this beautiful location in the woods near Stavelot!

Tijdens t familieweekend met Pinksteren hebben we met 6 volwassenen t klimparcours gedaan.
De ontvangst, uitleg en begeleiding was professioneel en duidelijk .
De humor werd niet vergeten , waardoor een ontspannen sfeer ontstond. Voor diegene die t nodig had was er extra aandacht waardoor je net iets verder durfde te gaan .
Op deze prachtige lokatie in de bossen bij Stavelot hebben we heerlijk genoten!

Great company outing

Last weekend we went to Avenature with a large group (+/- 35 people). They contributed to a great company weekend, with many different adventure activities: kayak, mountain bike, climbing forest and archery. We were given a diverse offer in advance, and our colleagues could choose what they wanted to do. On the day itself, Avenature's organization was very flexible in accommodating a few last minute changes. I will definitely recommend Avenature to other companies who want to get out and enjoy the area in an adventurous way!

We played the disc golf with a group of 8 (2 families). After a short introduction we could start playing the course. This worked out better for some than for others😉 . We had a great time!
The next day the children also did the high altitude course; very professional, good explanation with a touch of humor and a great challenging course.
We would recommend Avenature to anyone.

Our 3 children really wanted to do the altitude course, but because we both can't do this due to health, this was difficult, but our children have been super guided here despite they had a small heart in the beginning, thanks to the two cool ladies there, they turned out to be true adventurers

Altitude trail was fun and good guidance

We did this activity with 7 girls. We were met on arrival and already got a word of explanation about what to expect. We all thought it was very exciting! At the start of the activity we received a good explanation of what to do and what to expect. It was well explained how you could and go with your material and had to practice this in advance so that we had already mastered this in height. Explanations were possible in both French and Dutch. Then we were allowed to start, I myself was afraid and also got the time to think about it and was well supervised. The other girls in the group loved it and went again, from below they were well coached by Lidie, a topper with a lot of patience !! She could reassure everyone and gave good tips. Afterwards I also tried it, after 2 obstacles I changed my mind and could go back down, because Lidie encouraged me well together with my friends, I dared 2 obstacles!
Well worth doing!

We hebben deze activiteit gedaan met 7 meisjes. We werden bij aankomst opgewacht en kregen al een woordje uitleg over wat ons te wachten stond. We vonden het allemaal héél spannend! Bij aanvang van de activiteit kregen we een goede uitleg over wat we moesten doen en konden verwachten. Er werd goed uitgelegd hoe je met je materiaal aan de slag kon en gaan en moesten dit ook oefenen op voorhand zodat we in de hoogte dit al onder knie hadden. Er was uitleg mogelijk zowel in het Frans als Nederlands. Toen mochten we van start gaan, ik zelf had bang en kreeg ook de tijd om er over na te denken en werd goed begeleidt. De andere meisjes van de groep vonden het geweldig en gingen nog een keer, vanaf beneden werden ze goed gecoacht door Lidie, een topper met veel geduld!! Ze kon iedereen gerust stellen en gaf goede tips. Nadien heb ik het ook geprobeerd, na 2 hindernissen heb ik me bedacht en kon ik terug naar beneden, doordat Lidie me goed aanmoedigde samen met mijn vriendinnen heb ik toch 2 hindernissen aangedurfd!
Zeker de moeite waard om te doen!

We did the altitude trail and the GPS walk with our family of 4 (father, mother and 2 sons aged 17 and 20).
The altitude trail was not that big, but you have to help each other a bit and that stimulates the group feeling (if you are fast you can do the course 2).
The GPS walk is like an open-air escape room. Challenging the mind and legs. Very cool!

Top guidance we received during the ropes course. In our group there were some young people with a fear of heights. These people knew perfectly how to deal with this. Also nice that you could choose an extra activity afterwards. We found this to be a real added value.

We did the sensory tour with our family (24 people). An absolute must! Nice assignments and great guidance by Lidie and her colleague. The ages in our group range from 13 to 60 years old and everyone enjoyed themselves. All this in a beautiful setting.
