Event agency Sylvester built an impressive stand for Arvesta, the largest Belgian player in the agricultural and horticultural sector, at the annual agricultural and horticultural fair Agriflanders. Sylvester thus realized the largest stand at the largest agricultural trade fair in Flanders.

Anyone who visited Agriflanders in Flanders Expo in Ghent between 12 and 15 January could hardly miss Arvesta's large stand. The agricultural group behind the Aveve stores, among others, stood out with a large 'agricultural island' where all their brands were given a place. A fine example of stand construction by event agency Sylvester.

The Haacht office – voted Unizo SME of the year in Flemish Brabant and Brussels at the end of 2022 – took care of the concept, organisation, decoration and construction of the Arvesta stand. Sylvester event producer Stefan Kriek speaks of a major challenge. “Building a stand of about 1200 m², which puts 40 Arvesta brands in the spotlight in their own way, without losing sight of the overarching whole: that was quite tough. But thanks to close cooperation with the Arvesta team, we succeeded in our goal, and with a well-thought-out structure we were able to make the stand feel like an organic whole, bringing the farmer's outdoors inside.”

Arvesta is the largest Belgian agricultural and horticultural group, with brands such as Aveve, Dumoulin, Spoormans, Sanac, Cofabel and Lannoo in their stable. All of them big names that sound like a clock in the agricultural world. They naturally wanted to put their best foot forward at Agriflanders, the 'high mass' of agriculture and horticulture. Sofie Verreycken, marketing manager Animal Nutrition at Arvesta, looks back with satisfaction on the collaboration: “Sylvester has a good understanding of how we could reach our target group. Each brand was given its place and the brand messages were clearly conveyed, both visually and audiovisually. Many visitors found their way to our stand thanks to a few eye-catchers, such as a large silo.” Among them also Flemish Minister of Agriculture Jo Brouns.

It was the first edition of Agriflanders since 2019, and the trade fair has clearly lost none of its popularity in the post-corona era. With more than 340 exhibitors in 8 halls and 67,000 visitors, Agriflanders lived up to its name as the largest Flemish agricultural and horticultural fair.
