It is going fast for MEEPLE. The online event platform of the production and event house Sylvester knows how to charm companies from all kinds of sectors. "Something we had of course counted on and hoped for, but it is nice to see that the figures also support it," says a satisfied CEO Geert Vanoverschelde. Since its launch in September, the milestone of 35 online events has been smoothly reached.

An event location that is always open, that's how Sylvester from Haacht suggests the MEEPLE platform. With this simple and at the same time clever approach, the creative company apparently settled permanently on the online event market. To absorb the implosion of physical events, but also to assume a pioneering role in Belgium in an innovative and flexible way when it comes to organizing digital happenings. In the meantime, Port of Antwerp, D'Ieteren, VOKA and Toerisme Vlaanderen have already used the platform.

"The expertise, both in-house and with our partners, is of an unprecedented high level."

Vanoverschelde is only too happy to acknowledge that the train has been raging at a fast pace since September. “To get the figures straight away: 35 online events - and there are still a lot to come - in less than 5 months, with which we have reached a total of about 23,000 participants, that is very substantial. Also because we continue to focus on optimization and adding new features to the platform on a practically weekly basis. Fortunately, the expertise, both in-house and with our partners, is of an unprecedented high level, so I always sleep soundly. ”

Future plans

Meanwhile, it remains to be seen when those long-awaited loosening of the corona measures will take effect. Geert Vanoverschelde: “In any case, we are ready for it. What's more, we are convinced that MEEPLE can also provide added value for companies and sectors post-corona. Admittedly, we cannot wait to organize physical events again as usual, but the perspective of being able to approach the customer by means of an online section with an “and-and” story on top of the 'or-or' variant. makes us very enthusiastic. ”
