Restless Minds contacted Potvos to ask if we could make a documentary and a teaser video for the internal service of FPS Justice. No problem! Potvos and the Minister of Justice, that turned out to be a match made in heaven. Today, a large part of our lives is online and that is inevitable. Lessons that take place online, the results of a lab test that are online, you name it. Justice can no longer postpone it.
Together with Restless Minds, we teamed up to visualize the justice story. Potvos went on location and traveled throughout Belgium to consult various people from the judiciary. For example, we depicted people from the courthouses in Antwerp, Ghent, Brussels, as well as the prison in Hasselt and the court in Liège. No one could escape our lens. Clerks, judges, jailers, administrative support people were interviewed: what can the technology improve in the future? In what way can technology support you and help you further? Potvos filmed this from the best angles and sides!
In addition, Potvos provided a recording of a keynote by the Minister of Justice himself, Vincent Van Quickenborne! He clarified the plan: here we are now, this is where we want to evolve and we need to take these steps to make it happen. This was combined with a seat interview between the Minister of Justice and his Digital Officer, who will support him in the realization of the plan. This was filmed in a custom-made setting with the necessary extras, such as someone we had called in.

The unique thing about this project? There was a continuous alternation between French audio and Dutch subtitles, and vice versa! Even bilingual projects are welcome here. The result was then made available on the FPS Justice intranet.

Restless Minds contacteerde Potvos met de vraag of wij voor de interne dienst van FOD Justitie een documentaire en een teaser video konden maken. Geen probleem! Potvos en de Minister van Justitie, dat bleek een match made in heaven te zijn. Vandaag de dag is een groot deel van ons leven online en dat is niet meer uit de weg te gaan. Lessen die online plaatsvinden, de resultaten van een labo-onderzoek die online staan, noem maar op. Ook justitie kan het niet langer uit uitstellen.
Samen met Restless Minds, sloegen we de handen in elkaar om het verhaal van justitie te visualiseren. Potvos ging op locatie en trok door het volledig Belgenland om verschillende mensen van justitie te raadplegen. Zo brachten we mensen van de justitiepaleizen in Antwerpen, Gent, Brussel in beeld alsook de gevangenis van Hasselt en de rechtbank van Luik. Niemand kon ontsnappen aan onze lens. Griffiers, rechters, cipiers, administratief ondersteunende mensen werden geïnterviewd: wat kan de technologie verbeteren in de toekomst? Op welke manier kan de technologie jullie ondersteunen en verder helpen? Dit filmde Potvos, vanuit de beste hoeken en kanten!
Daarnaast zorgde Potvos voor een opname van een keynote door de Minister van Justitie himself, Vincent Van Quickenborne! Hij verduidelijkte het plan: hier zijn we nu, hier willen we naartoe evolueren en deze stappen moeten we ondernemen om dit te realiseren. Dit werd gecombineerd met een zetelgesprek tussen de Minister van Justitie en zijn Digital Officer, die hem zal ondersteunen bij de realisatie van het plan. Dit werd gefilmd in een op maat gemaakte setting met de nodige extraatjes, zoals iemand die we lieten inbellen.
Potvos verzorgde uiteraard ook de montage om alles te laten samenvloeien in een boeiend geheel! Bent u benieuwd naar wat de Minister te zeggen heeft? Of wilt u gewoon eens de beelden bekijken zodat u kan zien wat wij onder andere ook voor u kunnen doen? Bekijk dan zeker de volgende beelden!
Het unieke aan dit project? Er was een continue afwisseling tussen Franse audio en Nederlandse ondertiteling, en vice versa! Zelfs tweetalige projecten zijn hier welkom. Het resultaat werd daarna ter beschikking gesteld op FOD Justities intranet.
Tot slot selecteerden we nog de juiste verkorte fragmenten uit de documentaire om die van een teaser video te voorzien, mét Nederlandse en Franse voice-over.
