Rensje Plantinga and Rik Holwerda together create theater for people with special needs. People with intellectual disabilities and people with dementia. They have been doing this for over 20 years now and have given many performances in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. Experience theater with puppets, sound experience with projections, it all comes to the fore in fairytale performances for people for which normal communication is not self-evident. In addition to the experience theater, Rik and Rensje present toddler performances for nurseries, nursery halls and libraries. They provide the performances on location in a theater (blacklight) tent of 6 meters square. The tent can only be set up indoors. The performances are suitable for a maximum of 10 people in the body-bound experience order 16 in the associative experience order. It is also possible to use the theater to move around living areas on the central institutional site and to deliver theater performances at home. In the Drentse Dalerveen they have a snoezeltheater where, under the guidance of Rik and Rensje, individual theater can be experienced followed by a longer or shorter snoezel session. Ideally suited as an outing or as a supplement to a holiday.
